Me and Kenny Blackwell and percussionist Paul Griffith will play roots music of various types (leaning to the blues, i suppose) at the Savory Palette Wine Bar in Morro Bay. lovely view of the water, by the way. Its been years since Kenny and I have played a duo (or trio, in this case) in our own neighborhood. Mostly acoustic, i guess, but if we feel like lugging a couple old amps and an electric guitar well then we will. We’ll just see what moves us. We look forward to playing with Paul, this particular trio will be a new experience and thats always fun. There will be a $10 cover and a $15 minimum purchase (food, alcohol, whatever). The door goes to the band, the minimum goes to the venue. Thats how these things are possible. Saturday, Feb. 3, 7-9pm.
